Dr Phillip M Plourde DMD
My areas of expertise are but not limited to the placement of implants, crowns and restorations, teeth realignment with Invisalign products and/or like products, multiple cosmetic procedures, IV Sedation, all general dental procedures, and dentures. As well as being your frontline doctor at diagnosing and treating conditions of the mouth, gums, and teeth. I maintain a high standard at keeping every interaction with you to be as comfortable and pain-free as possible to enhance your dental experience for each visit. As my patient, I value your time and the confidence you have in me as your doctor, to provide care for you and I am very grateful for that honor. To me, you are family when you walk through that door. My hope is that I can provide comfort and healing to all that I care for.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 16 years since I stepped off a plane at the Anchorage airport and immediately saw Dr. Michael Darling’s giant polar bear in the old Alaska Airlines terminal. Little did I know that I would soon meet Michael and Lucy Darling and go on to work with them for over a decade.Now that the Darlings are enjoying a well-earned retirement, I am excited to be at Anchorage Dental Group.

I have lived in Anchorage since 2006, and I now consider Alaska my home. I graduated from UAA with my Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene, and have Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide endorsements on my license. I enjoy answering patient questions about their oral health and recommending strategies to improve their dental hygiene routines. I also enjoy staying active in Anchorage’s figure skating community and coaching students of all ages. When I’m not in a dental office or an ice rink, my husband and I are spending quality time exploring our beautiful state or exploring streaming services.

Dental Assistant
Jade was in born in Canada but has called Alaska home for the past sixteen years. She has been a dental assistant for the past two years with over a year of experience working in pediatric dentistry.
Her favorite thing about being an assistant is helping patients, both young and old, have a positive visit in which they can leave smiling. During her free time Jade enjoys acting alongside her improv troop members and spending time with her dogs Lola and Lettie.

I’ve been in the dental field for 7 years as a front desk/patient coordinator.
What I love most about my job is interacting and connecting with the patients. Making them feel the most comfortable whether it’s on the phone or in person. I love the fact that I can learn and grow everyday. It definitely excites me!
On my off time from work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two boys and family!
